Anurayee Eco Tourism

CELEBRATING OUR BOND WITH MOTHER EARTH

Anurayee Eco tourism is an Agri Tourism Center registered by the
Maharashtra State Agri & Rural Tourism Co-op. Federation Ltd.(MART)
Since ages, nature worship and the conservation ethics have been an inseparable part of Indian thought and traditions.Rishi Parashar’s ancient concept of vedic/natural farming has been partly applied at Anurayee.

Agrotourism and Ecotourism is a natural offshoot of the above concept. India’s topography boasts an abundant source of flora & fauna. Therefore the farm has organically grown vegetables, fruits and flowers.

It was a barren piece of infertile land which had seen soil erosion. Over two thousand trees have been planted to make sure the farm has enough green cover. The newly planted trees were the same species that were found in the area decades back.  The plants that are grown, are ones which attract a variety of birds and butterflies. The cottages have been built without disrupting the contours of the land.

One of the objectives of Anurayee was rural development and women empowerment. Anurayee has helped the local women, villagers and adivasis to become economically  independent by generating employment for them .

Anurayee is not just a tourist destination that de-stresses you, it will also rejuvenate you.

Rural Development:
Generated employment for more than 300  adivasis and villagers combined.

Promoted women empowerment by hiring and training adivasi women and helped them grow and develop skills.

Trained the villagers in organic farming to help them produce higher quality yield  on their own farms to promote better living and source of income.

Provided Educational facilities for the adivasi children to direct them to a prospective career path.

Arranged camps promoting knowledge about alcoholism/ tobacco chewing and hygiene enabling them to understand their ill effects.

Undertook a forest restoration project for the farmers and the village by planting 3000 plants all around Anurayee to create an environment friendly atmosphere for all.
